Lowney's Company History
In 1997, Lowney’s Landscaping Center is based just north of Appleton and began with a pick-up truck, a wheelbarrow and a dream while Joe Lowney was attending college. Following graduation in 1998, Joe entered into a partnership with his father Dennis, and the business acquired its first tractor as well as its first employee.
The business experienced success and we constructed our office/shop in 2007 on Richmond Street. In 2009, we added our retail garden center. In 2014 the business acquired and called it "The North Site" on Wege Road, just a couple of miles north of our headquarters. Construction finished in 2017 on a new shop at The North Site, where the maintenance, construction and mechanics divisions are now.
Now entering our 27th year, we have 100 employees and we have grown into one of the most respected landscape companies in the Fox Valley. Services offered for Door County include landscape design and construction, and outdoor living renovations. Please note that we no longer offer snow removal or holiday lighting services in Door County.
